This Privacy Policy describes how PKLLC LLC ("PKLLC," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the MyGuide mobile and web application (the "App") and related services (collectively, the "Service"). MyGuide generates personalized AI audio tours for locations of your choosing. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account information. When you sign in, we receive an identifier from your chosen sign-in method: an Apple identity token (Sign in with Apple), a Google access token (Sign in with Google), or an email address (email-based sign-in). We may store your email address, your Apple ID or Google ID where applicable, and a display name.
- Profile preferences. A profile icon and color you select.
- Tour inputs. The location, duration, tone, voice, and interests you provide to generate a tour.
- Feedback. Optional likes/dislikes and free-text notes you submit about a tour.
- Communications. If you contact us for support, we receive your message and contact details.
1.2 Information generated through your use of the Service
- Generated tour content. Tour scripts, narration audio, transcript segments, word-level timestamps, and cover artwork created in response to your inputs.
- Tour metadata. Title, description, location name, latitude/longitude of the tour subject, duration, voice, tone, status, and any edits you make.
- Subscription and credits. Your current plan, tour-credit balance, and credit expiration, as reported to us by our subscription management provider.
- Speech-rate calibration. Anonymous pacing data used to tune narrator timing.
1.3 Information collected automatically
- Location data. If you enable the "use my location" option, the App sends your latitude and longitude to our server and to our mapping provider to identify nearby places. Location is optional; the App works without it. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings.
- Push notification token. If you enable push notifications, we store the push token assigned to your device so we can notify you (for example, when a tour finishes generating).
- Device and usage information. Basic information such as device type, operating system, and timestamps of activity, used for diagnostics, abuse prevention, and product improvement.
- Operational metrics. Internal records of usage and cost associated with content generation, retained for cost and quality monitoring.
1.4 Information we do not collect
- We do not access your microphone or camera. Those permissions are explicitly disabled.
- We do not see or store payment card details. All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store (and, where applicable, Google Play); we receive only entitlement state from our subscription management provider.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Generate, deliver, and play back the audio tours you request, including offline downloads and shared tour links.
- Authenticate your account and maintain your session.
- Apply your subscription entitlements and manage tour credits.
- Send push notifications you have opted into.
- Diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve the Service.
- Monitor AI generation costs and quality.
- Respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. AI-Generated Content
Tour scripts, narration audio, and cover artwork in MyGuide are generated by third-party artificial intelligence services on our behalf. AI output may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or fabricated details and should not be relied upon as authoritative information about any place, person, business, or event. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of generated content for any particular purpose.
4. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with the third-party providers listed below, only as needed to operate the Service. Each provider processes data under its own privacy and security terms.

We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others. If PKLLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
5. Where Your Data Is Stored
- Our servers. Account information, tour records, feedback, and operational metrics are stored in secure databases hosted by reputable cloud providers.
- Object storage. Generated audio files and cover images are stored in cloud object storage. Short-lived caches may exist on our servers for performance.
- Your device. Your signed-in account record is stored locally on your device. Tours you download for offline playback remain on the device until you remove them.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Generated tours and feedback are retained until you delete them or your account. Generation cost records are retained for internal financial and operational purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at help@myguide.cc.
7. Your Choices and Rights
- Location. Enable or disable location access through your device's privacy settings.
- Notifications. Disable push notifications through your device's settings; we will stop using the corresponding push token.
- Account deletion. Email help@myguide.cc to request deletion of your account and personal data.
- Access and correction. Email us to access or correct personal information we hold about you.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act, including rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. 8. Children's Privacy
MyGuide is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete the information.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including transport encryption (HTTPS), restricted access controls, and use of vetted service providers. However, no method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Users
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and in jurisdictions where our service providers operate, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, notify you through the App. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
